- Open the “MacTCP” Control Panel. (If its
not there, you need to install it. You should be able to find it on your MacOS C.D. If you
see a Control Panel called “TCP/IP” instead, follow the intructions for
Open Transport instead.)
You’ll see a few icons in the top box. Click on
the one called “PPP” so its highlighted.
Click the “More” button.
Under the “Obtain address:”
section, on the left side of the window, select “Dynamically”. Leave
everything else blank.
Click the “OK” button. You will
probably need to restart your computer.
